Consultant Insight Analyst - Remote
Salary- £60,000 - £70,000
Working alongside the client services team to support existing and prospective clients, across all insight projects. You will be the analytical translator between technical delivery and client teams to bring clarity and guidance.
Leading multi-skilled teams for clients and their projects, you will be the trusted advisor for both client and delivery teams, running project governance and ensuring projects are successfully delivered.
Delivering sophisticated analytics solutions and solving complex data problems for clients across a variety of platforms.
Provide a leading example of high quality technical and personal skills to insight and systems teams, inspiring and supporting the development of both technical and non-technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading client engagements and working with key stakeholders to translate analytics requirements into actionable briefs and roadmaps, showing an ability to understand their commercial needs, and translate these into strategic recommendations
- Conduct the analysis to deliver high quality analysis work to the client including the most complicated and challenging projects, using appropriate tools and techniques, and sense checking all numerical output.
- Scope and launch insight projects making sure responsibilities in the team are clear and the right expectations are set with the client
- Negotiating deadlines with stakeholders and prioritising in accordance with the resource available including budgets & timescales
- Lead a multi-discipline team to develop and implement insight solutions by providing clear and precise briefing of activities, ensuring correct interpretation of results, and driving a compelling story to present back to key stakeholders.
- Ensuring that internal analysis solutions, tools and products across all projects delivered by the team are appropriate for the client
- Ensuring projects at all stages are delivered on time and on budget
- Identifying opportunities to up-sell new products or services - working with client services team to do so.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with both client, delivery teams and agency stakeholders, gathering feedback to ensure needs are being met
- Monitoring wider industry changes and developments relating to the client’s challenges and objectives.
- Staying up to speed with analytical developments and topics
- Championing innovation and find opportunities to improve ways of working across the business
- Building influential relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, gaining trust in the ideas and recommendations you propose to them
- Challenging existing client assumptions and preconceptions where appropriate, presenting well-founded and logical arguments for alternative solutions

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A track record of delivering business value with analytical solutions
- Have a statistical qualification such as a degree level qualification in Statistics, or a high level of relevant experience within in marketing & fundraising analytics
- Application of data analysis within a marketing environment, ideally including some charity sector work
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques such as regression, CHAID, correlation analysis, cluster analysis, used in segmentation and predictive modelling applications
- You must be skilled in a client-facing role, able to interpret complex data and explain it in straight forward, easy to understand terms and language.
- Account or project management - significant interaction with clients on a regular basis, project management skills, and financial accountability
- An ability to work in a varied, demanding and flexible environment, occasionally pressured, but able to work under your own initiative whilst operating as an effective team member
- A passion for working with data, including high-quality and accurate work, and an ability to summarise key findings in simple terms
- You will have advanced knowledge in Excel plus knowledge of a computing language such as SQL , a statistical language such as Python, ETL concepts and best practices for data-feeding analytics systems
