Ecommerce Manager

 

Our client is a well-regarded B2C organisation with multiple established brands.  We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce Manager from a scaling b2c trading background to drive the digital and brand presence. This role is perfect for an innovative leader with a strong background in Ecommerce, digital marketing, and multi-channel management.

The role offers hybrid working post probation, offering the right candidate the opportunity to take ownership of all ecommerce and digital marketing activities, enhancing brand impact and drive revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Develop and implement data-driven e-commerce strategies, promotional calendars, and customer acquisition plans, focusing on driving revenue from both new and existing customers.

Oversee brand websites, ensuring top-notch user experience (UX/UI), optimal conversion rates, and continuous improvements.

Manage effective SEO strategies, product listing enhancements, and ongoing page optimization.

Lead and optimize the company’s presence across key platforms, including Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other e-commerce channels. Ensure all product listings are up-to-date and promotional activities are effective and aligned with brand standards.

Collaborate with the content team to create and deploy high-quality content for social media, SEO-optimized blog posts, and paid/organic campaigns across all relevant digital channels.

Drive alignment of email campaigns, PPC initiatives, and sales promotions with external agencies.

Work closely with the design team to produce compelling sales and marketing assets for various channels, including TV, B2B partners, and D2C platforms, maintaining brand consistency and appeal.

Lead and mentor the marketing/content team, providing guidance, feedback, and clear objectives to ensure high performance and the successful implementation of digital marketing strategies.

Conduct regular analysis of customer insights, market conditions, competitor activities, and key performance metrics.

Generate actionable reports to refine strategies, optimize sales, and identify new revenue opportunities.

Deliver insightful reports that highlight successes, challenges, and areas for improvement, ensuring that senior stakeholders are well-informed and engaged.

 

Ideal experience:-

Proven experience in e-commerce, or digital marketing roles, most likely B2C

Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, SEO, PPC, social media management, and UX/UI principles.

Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency with e-commerce and marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Klaviyo, Shopify Plus, and Amazon Seller Central.

Analytical mindset with experience interpreting digital sales and marketing metrics to make data-informed decisions.
