Content Manager (Maternity cover) 12 months starting Jan 25
We are seeking a talented Content Manager to join this fantastic business and team on a maternity cover contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Raise brand awareness, monitor web traffic, and analyse metrics to identify best practices
- Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with both short-term and long-term marketing objectives
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan, create, and refine site content, style, and layout
- Publish engaging and original content regularly
- Edit, proofread, and enhance the work of the copywriter to ensure quality and brand consistency
- Optimize content for SEO to boost visibility and search rankings
- Use content management systems (CMS) to track website traffic and user engagement metrics
- Manage distribution of content across online channels and social media to increase traffic and user engagement
- Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring timely content delivery
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations such as copyright and data protection
- Stay updated on industry trends and generate new ideas to engage the target audience
Key Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Content Manager/Executive, with demonstrated success in a content role
- Strong understanding of web traffic metrics, and social media platforms
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with high attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with managing online content
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- A degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is desirable but not essential depending on experience.
