Senior Account Manager position for well-regarded agency based in Gloucestershire
With home based working, office twice per week, we have a rapidly growing agency who offer an excellent package with opportunity for development and progression.
Working within clients services and project teams, our client harness the power of data to change consumer behaviour and deliver unrivalled return on investment.
The Senior Account Manager manages the day-to-day relationship with client stakeholders up to a senior level, taking ownership of mid to large sized projects and supporting on complex ones.
We are interested in talking with Senior Account Manager’s and Account Manager’s looking for the next step. We are open to both b2b and b2c backgrounds.
Overview
- An understanding of the end customer lifecycle is critical, meaning you will need a strong eye for creative as well as a fundamental appreciation for how data and insight can help.
- Will hold management responsibility and as such will be leading multiple projects as well as nurturing a team.
- Maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders and disciplines, with excellent organisation skills and strong people management are crucial
- Appetite to learn new skills, tools, methodologies to refine efficiency and support innovation
- High standards and with relentless attention to detail, you deliver work efficiently, profitably and right first time (demonstrating a good feel for the agency business)
- Progressing creative briefs as well as technical requirements (data or development briefs) in order to bring a solution to reality.
- Prioritise your, and your team’s, workload and at times have difficult, conversations with the client about priorities.
- Responsible for owning key client relationships.
- Highly numerate: You will be responsible for forecasting and budget control for projects you and your team manage.
- Equally comfortable in delivering day to day projects as well as showing appetite for more strategic led initiatives.
You need to have..
- Demonstrate effective line management though structured objective setting, 1:1s and development plans
- Builds and cultivates strong internal relationships with great influencing skills to integrate teams and ensure everyone works efficiently and effectively on a project towards the same goal(s)
- Holds strong and trusted client relationships
- Develop a strategic sense of the account and how tactical campaigns ladder up to a bigger vision. You will be the bridge between the strategic direction of the account and campaigns.
- Responds quickly to queries from internal stakeholders and clients and acts decisively when problems are highlighted. Coaches the AE/AM in finding a solution
- Be an engaging and persuasive presenter
- A passion for marketing and engaging customers
- A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency role
- Educated to Degree level and/or Minimum 4 years working within direct or integrated agency environment.
