Job Purpose
As Paid Digital Lead you will be responsible building and managing new campaigns across multiple platforms, primarily paid social.
This is a strategic growth area for the business with the opportunity to play a key role in introducing new channels and shaping the growth of a newly formed team.
You will need to be comfortable managing campaigns yourself as well as delivering through other internal or agency teams.
You'll work with data in real time, analysing trends and results, while simultaneously thinking creatively about improvements and strategies to optimize media campaigns to maximise spend and lead to conversions.
Your main focus every day will be on maintaining, launching and developing campaigns that generate revenue for the business either directly through sales or through lead gen activity to build marketing database and future sales, using learnings from previous campaigns, analytics and digital trends.
Principle Accountabilities
- Monitor performance of PPC, paid social, video and display campaigns across Google and Microsoft, sharing trends and suggestions
- Stay up to date with industry developments and suggest new opportunities such as campaign structures, targeting, landing page strategy to improve performance
- Test and optimize Ad copy and creative, feeding back to creative teams for future briefs.
- Work closely with content and social media teams to ensure optimal balance between paid and organic search visibility.
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly analysis and data as needed to support business decisions.
- Support other digital activity such as website content management, display, and affiliates.
- Ensure all advertising adheres to regulatory standards and requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Hands on experience building ads within the meta platform
- An understanding of how to measure and analyse key social ad campaign metrics
- Ability to conduct market/competitor analysis, identifying and quantifying opportunities
- Ability to brief and QA effective, accurate ad content
- Awareness and understanding of ROI and the factors that influence it
- Confidence to report on findings with accuracy and make recommendations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data manipulation with good analytical skills
- The ability to think creatively
- The ability to present information effectively to a range of audiences
- Ability to use Google Tag Manager to tag website activity and performance
- Working knowledge of Meta’s Conversion API
- Experience building and managing YouTube and paid search campaigns
